Olav Mosvold Larsen on the Green Airport

When thinking about sustainability issues in the aviation industry, the first thing that comes to mind is pollution caused by airplanes. But airports have huge energy requirements themselves as well – not to mention problems caused by de-icing chemicals or the challenges of fuel logistics. In this video interview, Olav Mosvold Larson, Senior Executive Adviser at Avinor, explains how the Norwegian airport operator has tackled the issue so far and what he sees on the horizon.

This interview is part of a series about airport sustainability. With this series, we’d like to present different ideas and best cases of how airports have managed to tackle environmental concerns.
